The Global Poverty Project
In a similar vain to the An Inconvenient Truth presentation, The Global Poverty Project aims to catalyse the global movement to end extreme poverty through it’s 90-minute “1.4 billion reasons” presentation. Launching in Australia and travelling the world, 1.4 Billion Reasons is a groundbreaking yet simple presentation on global poverty, why it can be solved, and what you can do to add your bit to the movement calling for an end to this generation’s greatest injustice.
The Global Poverty Project was launched in Melbourne on July 4, 2009, and is traveling Australia, then the world, with it’s presentation. I would highly recommend going along to see this presentation when it rolls around to your part of the world!
